At Giant Food in McLean, the Season of Giving is well underway! The familiar bell ringing and the red kettle will be out front through Christmas Day.

Salvation Army's volunteers stand outside in the cold ringing a bell and collecting money at the red kettle. Monies raised go to the local community in the form of Housing Assistance, Food Assistance, Clothing Assistance, Emergency Disaster Services. The little red kettle goes a long way!

Also at Giant Food, you will find a Christmas Tree at Customer Service that has gift cards on it. The cards are for Share of Mclean, the community assistance program that helps families with food, clothings, emergency financial assistance. Share is year round in need of keeping stocked supplies and donations. They also have $10 toiletries bags that can be purchased at Giant Food. Rebecca Webb is a long time friend and colleague of Lizzy Conroy. Rebecca works in the capacity of marketing and business development, writing and social media.
