The Pineapple Patrol is an active committee in the neighborhood that offers welcome and useful information to new neighbors.

All Chesterbrook Woods residents are eligible for the Yahoo Group listserv in which neighbors both in and around the neighborhood share useful information and resources with one another, including weekend events, parent/child gatherings at local parks, coffee shops, book readings, charitable endeavors, local classes and camps, etc.  Please contact me to inquire about being added to the group.

Looking for a summer pool?  Chesterbrook Woods is close to the following membership based pools:

There is a PlayDates group that has weekday nanny/mom/child playdates. You will find information about weekend events such as parent/child gatherings at local parks, coffee shops and book readings, or taking classes together like music/dance and a summer Family Swim with BBQ at Highlands Swim & Tennis Club in McLean.

Serving as a neighborhood block captain is a great way to keep in touch with neighbors on a regular basis. Block captains distribute the neighborhood directory, ensure new neighbors are welcomed to Chesterbrook Woods, keep their neighbors informed CWCA news, and can help communicate a neighbor's concerns to CWCA.  I serve as a neighborhood Block Captain and enjoy staying connected to neighbors.
