USEFUL INFORMATION ABOUT ONE OF THE DC AREA'S MOST BEAUTIFUL, DYNAMIC NEIGHBORHOODS

McLean, Va - A Fine Day in February

by Rebecca Webb
February 5, 2019

In February, when the weather is coldest with freezing temps and our heaters and fireplaces are working overtime, we dream of springtime and snow drying up and warm sunshine.

Today, on February 5th the sun came out and the temperature peaked over 65 degrees.  The perfect outdoor weather.

Our glorious state of Virginia offers the beautiful mountains, valleys, vineyards, national parks, and....for better or worse, all four complete seasons.

So when one fine day strolls in through the beginning of February, we'll take it thank you very much!

What a wonderful day to get outside and soak up the sun!  While it lasts... who knows when the next freeze is heading our way.

And a few more worthy suggestions for all you blog readers...

In our blog, we cover McLean, Virginia, homes, real estate, the local town and shopkeepers, local interests and the odd Fine Day in February.

A couple of our favorite blogs are the History of Chesterbrook, VA as told by Frank da Cruz who grew up on a nearby farm in the 1950's and attended Chesterbrook Elementary School.  And another great blog about a neighbor Rose, who has extraordinary edible gardens and wonderful stories.  Be sure to check out both of these interesting blog reads!

And if you're anything like me, take a beautiful 65 degree day and hang on to it with the hope that in the near future perfect weather days are coming.

Stay Warm!
