Hooray Hooray - It's Ice Cream Truck Day!

Treats and smiling youngsters ages 1 to 85 were seen in Chesterbrook Woods with the 5th Annual Neighborhood Ice Cream Truck to welcome summer.  Once again, Scoops2U came through and rallied their trucks, this year in both Chesterbrook Woods and nearby Kings Manor!  HBC Group's Lizzy Conroy and Karen and Andy Briscoe hosted and played double duty for their neighbors!

With the onset of summer and children eager for distractions, the ice cream truck was a welcome enjoyment.  Sweet treats were handed out by Partner Lizzy Conroy, a Chesterbrook neighbor and long time neighborhood real estate agent.

The ice cream truck is one of Lizzy's favorite annual events.  Chesterbrook Woods hosts wonderful activities and events throughout the year, giving neighbors extra opportunity to catch up with friends and meet new neighbors.

Following guidelines for social distancing, the ice cream truck rolled slowly through the neighborhood and made multiple stops to alleviate large gathering in one spot.  Host Lizzy Conroy rode her bike alongside and stopped to greet neighbors and say hello to new faces.

Meanwhile, in Kings Manor neighborhood, Karen and Andy Briscoe of HBC Group hosted their neighbors to a cold sweet treat!  They met new neighbors and said hello to longtime residents.  It was a great day all around!
