Whole Foods Tysons Enormous Flagship Store Opens at The Boro

Whole Foods Market has opened its Flagship store at The Boro Tysons.  This elaborate, ambitious shopping and dining experience is ready for your taste-testing!

The 70,000 square foot store, the largest on the East Coast, boasts a food hall with superb local business, and High Point, the in-store pub and a game room. 

The immense shopping and dining experience will include:

Full service butcher department

In-house bakery offers breads, cakes, seasonally-inspired offerings and vegan and special diet

JRINK, Juice bar of superfood smoothies and herbal blends

Full-service Allegro coffee and tea bar 

Self-serve pineapple coring machine

House-made tandoori Indian Cuisine

Full service deli for charcuterie

Officina - eatery offering modern Italian founded by Michelin Star Chef Nicholas Stefanelli 

Genji Izakaya - Features sushi, poke, dumplings, ramen bowls, including a new spicy "angry chicken ramen."

Curiosity Doughnuts - Daily-made flavor obsessed doughnuts

Rappahannock Oyster Co - Virginia-based, Signature crab cakes and Barcat Oyster Chowder, and the "Rapp Burger"

Whole Foods offers locally sourced foods, natural and organic grocery and grab-and-go prepared foods that meet Whole Foods excellent quality standards. 

Amazon Prime members have access to a number of benefits including discounts and an additional 10% off hundreds of in-store items. 

On Thursday, November 7th, the store will donate 5% of net sales to Food for Others distributing food to neighbors in need.  From opening day through the end of 2019, donations from Whole Food Market's bag credit program will to Fairfax Casa, which works on rights of children entering the juvenile court system.  The bag credit program gives customers a credit if they bring their own shopping bags.

Whole Foods Tysons is located in The Boro at 1635 Boro Place, Tysons.  Hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Virginia Mother of the Year® and the 2005 Leukemia & Lymphoma Society National Woman of the Year. She is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Washington and is a devoted member of her church, Trinity United Methodist. She is a member of River Bend Golf & Country Club, Great Falls, VA. She and her husband, Steve, live in McLean, Virginia with their two children. Lizzy enjoys working out, spending time with friends and family, hiking, traveling, and exploring unique cultural experiences in the DMV.
